Join Ms. Stacy as she brings a book to life through song and dance. The adventure will begin with a story and then we will explore it further with fun and active musical activities. For children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. No registration.

Monday Mindfulness Drumming! Mondays at 10:30am (April 21-June 2)
Join Teaching Artist Ernesto from Song and Beat Inc. for drumming, singing and musical games. For children of all ages and their caregivers.

Music & Movement with Lori Cohen! Tuesdays at 6:00pm OR Fridays at 11:00am (begins February 25 - April 11) (No class March 28 or April 8th)
For all ages. Come sing and dance with Lori Cohen and other participants! No registration needed.

Bouncing Babies! Wednesdays at 10:30am OR 11:30am (February 26 - April 2)
Ideal for lap-sitting babies from birth on up. Join us as we do rhymes, bounces, songs and a story or two. Stay to play and meet new friends for a while after. No registration needed.

Art Club! Every 1st Wednesday of the Month at 4:00pm-6:00pm
This is a drop-in program where you can come and draw whatever you'd like. There will be themes for each month for inspiration, and you can draw on your own or with other kids! For grades 3-5. No registration needed.

Exploring Emotions! Thursdays at 10:30 am. (February 27 - April 3)
For ages 2 - 4 with caregiver. We all have a lot of emotions-is your child feeling happy, sad or angry? This program, led by licensed clinical social worker Selina Toppin, explores emotions through stories and activities and helps give children the language to express these emotions helping families to build their self-awareness. No registration needed.

Thursdays, 4:00pm-5:30pm. For ages 5 & up and families
Drop in to play board games at the library. Bring your friends and family to play some old favorites like Uno and Sorry and some new classics like King of Tokyo and Outfoxed. No registration necessary.

Lego Free Build
Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 for ages 5 and up
Drop in for some Lego fun and build a creation with friends. We will display your amazing creations in the library until the next week. No registration required.
ON-GOING PROGRAMS
I Read 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Come to sign up for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge! This is a nationwide program that is available at our own library! The concept is simple, the rewards priceless. Read books to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler, the goal is to have read 1,000 books before your precious one starts kindergarten. To sign up come to the library to pick up a reading log. Each child will receive an incentive for every 100 books read. When they reach 1,000 books they will get a certificate, a magnet, and you can take their picture in our special “I read 1,000 books before Kindergarten!” frame!

Are you interested in having a month-long show?
You will need 6 masterpieces to display in our library frames: 4 are normal paper size (8.5x11" portrait) and there are two large frames (12x18" landscape).
