This year, you can register for the Summer Reading Game on the Beanstack app before you come to Summer Reading Kickoff on Friday, June 26th from 2pm to 4pm.
Summer Reading Game registration will be required to get your prize, so register early to save time. When you arrive, show us proof of your registration and you’ll receive a goody bag with a reading log and a prize.
We’re excited to announce that this year we’ll be using Beanstack for summer reading registration and tracking. If you’ve participated in past years, you may remember using Readsquared. Beanstack will replace our old system and offers an easy, user-friendly way to log reading, complete activities, and earn prizes throughout the summer.
Registration opens on June 10th & The Summer Reading Game begins on June 26th
All participants will need to create a new account in Beanstack.
How to Get Started
- Go to yorktownlibrary.beanstack.com
- Select “Register an Individual or Family” – Families can track multiple readers under one account
- Follow the prompts to create your account
- Register for the “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Game
- Start logging your reading on the Beanstack website or mobile app
