MEMBERS OF THE LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Kathy Law-Imperato PRESIDENT
Kathy is honored to once again be the President of the John C. Hart Board of Trustees as a returning board member (2012-2022). Kathy is a long term Yorktowner having grown up in the Lakeland School District before moving to California with her family in 1979. As a young girl she loved to read and spent many afternoons choosing books with her mother at the John C. Hart Memorial Library. She returned with her husband, Joe, in 2005 to raise their two children in Yorktown. Kathy’s early career was as an Institutional Equity Sales Trader in Manhattan. She stayed close to home with her children while working in Yorktown schools, visiting John C Hart’s children’s room and furthering her own education to become a triple certified NYS teacher. She is now a Special Education Coordinator and Reading Intervention teacher at City College Magnet School of the Arts in Manhattan, NY.

Barry Erenberg
TREASURER
I have been privileged to take my kids to the John C. Hart Memorial Library since our family moved to Yorktown Heights in 1997. The resources the Library provide benefits our community in so many ways. I look forward to helping the library with my experience as NYS licensed architect with my own firm for the last 30 years. My design and project management experience ranges from libraries to state-of-the-art educational facilities to community health centers. I appreciate the importance of the Hart Library and look forward to helping with its mission.

Cathleen Bahan
MEMBER AT LARGE
Applying for a Hart Library card was one of the first things I did upon moving to Shrub Oak 18 years ago. Recently retired, my 30-plus years in marketing span full-time experience with Fortune 100, startup and nonprofit organizations, as well as consulting. I have deep respect for the role of reading in lifelong learning and am delighted by the opportunity to assist The Hart as it navigates the community’s ever-changing needs.
