Any John C. Hart Memorial Library cardholders 18 years of age or older with accounts in good standing can borrow a player. If a patron under the age of 18 wishes to borrow a player, they must use their parent’s/guardian’s card. The parent’s/guardian’s account must be in good standing. (As of August 2024, Due to the popularity of the CD/DVD player lending program and the limited number of available devices a library patron may check out a CD or DVD players up to 5 times annually. This will follow the calendar year of January 1 – December 31st.)

Circulation instructions
- CD/DVD players circulate for 21 days. CD/DVD players overdue fine is $3 per day.
- CD/DVD players must be checked out and return at the reference desk. All items will be inspected by staff and the borrowing patron at the time of checkout to ensure that all items are present and in acceptable condition. The list of items is available from the “Quick Guide” in each of the packages.
- Patrons are responsible for any damage or loss of the players or accessories during the time they are checked out. Lost or damaged items will be charged to the patron according to the “Quick Guide” in each of the packages.
